C.I.P.S. Service Fees:

This fee includes the first 2 hours and first 25 miles traveled to serve document. $50

This fee covers all hours of endeavor for basic service of process beyond the first two hours necessarily spent to serve process. $30 per hour

This fee applies for every mile traveled in excess of the first 25 miles traveled. This rate is set per the 2024 State of Alaska Privately Owned Vehicle Mileage Reimbursement Rate. Unless otherwise agreed upon on a case by case basis, mileage is measured from C.I.P.S. Offices in Kenai, Alaska. $0.67 per mile

This includes the physical posting of property, inspection of the property for new construction, and photographing property. $75 plus mileage

This service is to serve a Notice of Reassignment of Rents by Trustee in non-judicial foreclosures. In instances where the property posting and a single reassignment of rents notification can be served at the same time, there will be no additional charge beyond posting. $75 plus mileage

This posting includes three public places within 5 miles of the place of sale for judicial & non-judicial foreclosures, notice of sale of personal or real property pursuant to levy. Mileage charges will apply if postings are more than 5 miles from the Kenai Court House. $65 plus mileage

This service includes the public auction of real property for non-judicial foreclosures, and other public sales. $75 plus mileage

This service includes serving a levy on a bank pursuant to a Writ of Execution for a SINGLE Bank (Kenai Soldotna Area). This does not include service of the Judgment Debtor Packet on the Judgment Debtor. $55

This service includes serving a levy on a bank pursuant to a Writ of Execution for all banks and credit unions (Kenai Soldotna Area). This does not include service of the Judgment Debtor Packet on the Judgment Debtor. $125

This service includes service garnishment on the State of Alaska PFD Division. No mileage will be charged if the service is combined with other PFD packets served on April 1, August 1 or the first business day following. $25

This service includes service of PFD Garnishment packet on the State of Alaska PFD office on a non-scheduled basis. $55 plus mileage

This service is a per hour rate for skip tracing, locates, background & asset research and investigation in support of service of process, garnishments, service of Writs of Execution, Writs of Attachment, and other process. $30 per hour

For advertising and disposing of property by sale, set-off, or otherwise, according to law, pursuant to a writ of possession, partition, execution, or any final process and for receiving and paying over money on account of property sold-on any sum not exceeding five hundred dollars, 7%

And on any excess over five hundred dollars and not exceeding ten thousand dollars, 4%

And on any excess over ten thousand dollars and not exceeding fifty thousand dollars, 2 1/2%

And on any excess over fifty thousand dollars 1 1/4%

Kenai Peninsula Borough Sales Tax ( 6 % ) will be collected on all services required to be taxed by Kenai Peninsula Borough Tax Code.
